Hello everyone! My name is Todd, and I?m a Community Manager for several different indie game companies. Including M4, AK Arts, LAI Global Game Services, ICEX, RECOTechnology, Hiker Games, and Veewo Games.

There?s a lot to talk about in regards to games coming up, and I hope to share news with on them very soon!

I?m an avid gamer myself, and I also look forward to chatting with you about them! Any Nintendo fanboys/fangirls in here? Also, I come to Escapist to listen to Zero Punctuation every week! One of my favorite internet shows.

Anyway, I thank you for welcoming me to your forums.

Well, I won't say that I'm a Nintendo "fanboy", but I will say that there are certain Nintendo properties I'm a fan of.

Unfortunately for me, they're not making games with any of these properties anymore.

I do wonder how many people even acknowledge the existence of 1080, Wave Race or F-Zero. And I wonder what it says about me that my favorite game on a Nintendo platform isn't even by Nintendo: it's Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader.

Nintendo haven't made a decent console since the Gamecube, if you ask me. Haven't been worth shit. I've mostly gone over to Microsoft these days, though I still think the PS2 is the best console I've ever seen. Just waiting for the release of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown now... It'll be good to be back in Osea, after all these years.

Why do I not believe that at all and this this is a cheap ad-bot for those sites to try to generate some hits?

The bots are becoming sophisticated.

...I'm not a bot...seriously.

But JoJo, thank you for letting me know about the advertising, I'll be sure to not post game release information from the companies I work for.

I made that intro, just so people know, so that if I could have posted, you wouldn't have thought me a random person, but someone who works for them. But since it is requested that I don't do it, I will not.

Huh. Well, welcome then.

You'll have to forgive people, we don't get many introduction threads, and when we do they are either bots or people who only make a couple of posts before abandoning the site.

I understand that. I honestly have been here a while, just haven't posted on the site. My job asked me to look for more sites to talk in, so I thought about this one!

I'll definitely be a part of any Nintendo threads I find...I can't help myself. lol

Okay so very few of those are actually indie gaming sites. Veewo is. Hiker is.
Ak arts is a dance academy in Canada, ICEX is just the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade, RECOTech is but they don't have a game out, and LAI Global is a professional translation company from China

Are you really a Community Manager for SO many different companies, and can you provide evidence of such?

Apparently ICEX is working Novy Unlimited to promote spanish game development. That site lists quite a lot of clients, including the developers of Dex and then Sexy Brutale.
Novy Unlimited hires one Todd Black among their staff.
Said Todd Black is also linked to a number of Kickstarter pages promoting webcomics under the name Black Magic Wolf productions.
Edit: http://www.lai.com
would be the link for LAI Global Game services, not sure where a translation company comes in?
PS: Never have I felt my Avatar has been so apt.

Yes, it's interesting just how far I'll go to avoid doing real work.

Mate, you have no idea...

But speaking for myself, I can't really call myself a Nintendo fanboy, because while they have many IPs I like/have liked, I'm not too fond of their hardware (well, the Wii and Wii U, the DS/3DS were still fun enough). Maybe the Switch will turn things around, but that's a lot of dough to fork out right now.
