If you¡¦d invent a superhero, what would he look like? What would be his superpowers?
Here's my group:
1) I'd like to see this average guy, a little overweight and with ADD, but his superpower would be that his perception of reality would be the actual reality, but limited to his body. For instance, if he'd close his eyes and walk straight ahead, NOTHING would stop him; he'd just crush/move anything that's in his way (car, building, mountain, etc.). Same thing with stairs --> he'd just keep going up or down, regardless of what's in his path.
This would also cause problems, since if he'd step on someone's foot, he would crush it completely, or he could not sleep with someone for the same reasons, etc. If he steps on glass, even with his shoes and thought he'd get injured, he'd start to bleed, too, which would make for a great character development imo. He'd get winded easily in fight (subconsciously), etc.
2) A guy who cannot be seen by people if he so chooses. Not invisible; people would simply not... locate him, like the time you search your keys everywhere in your house but it's in your hand the whole time. However, technology, like cameras, would not be impacted or would nullify his power.
3) A little girl. Basically a Jean Grey in powers, but she absorbs residual power of others by touching objects that were in contact with the "target".
If a super strong person touched his cellphone for 2 days in all, she'd be super strong too for like a half day of touching the item, draining it faster in the process.
She'd get access to the power of the target, but also the knowledge of people that were accessed while touching the item. Only drawback would be that she would be in the SAME emotional state as the target while he was using the object (happy for 3 minutes, angry for 2 hours, indifferent for 6 hours, etc.), making her use of this power unpredictable. (I would also see for instance the hero #1 above ALWAYS wearing multiple bobby pins and hair clips when he relaxes in order to help his young companion)
4) A girl which could "touch" ANYONE she sees in real time, even on TV. For example, she'd be coaxed by the others to grab the crotch of a tv show host who's a douchebag at different moments and make him jump up in surprise live on TV, or just hold his lips closed in the middle of a rant, etc.
Fights with people would be interesting, as she could be hidden in a surveillance van and help her friends fight (they'd sport small cameras on them or something)
