hello i got this cool tablet i made but without an os it is a hollow shell. i was thinking win 7 but i made this thing kinda small. but i thought it might be really cool to put IOS 4 on it "the same os used on the iphone and ipod touch. is there like an emulator for windows or perhaps a way to install it on a basically normal pc?

edit: also i googled it and it failed.

Why on earth would you want that? You'd severely limit the things you can do with your tablet... If you want something that's sort of touch-screen specific, try if you can find a Linux distro or other suited for the purpose.

No. There are so many problems with that idea that I don't even know where to begin. Firstly, iOS is an entirely ARM-processor-based operating system, completely separate to the x86 basis of PCs. Secondly, people have enough problems emulating PlayStation 2s and Xboxes without trying to emulate the substantially more powerful hardware of the iPhone.

Thirdly, there are profoundly better UNIX-based operating systems on PC already, and better mobile operating systems altogether - ones which aren't crippled in specific ways that iOS is. Linux sounds like the most suitable free option, but you definitely will not get iOS on there by any means.
i am useing windows 7 on the tablet because i already purchased it. secondly i wanted the ios as an emulator to use some of the apps i purchased on my old iphone that was lost. i know you can run the android os on windows pc.
