So, as everyone and their mothers (literally in my case) know by now, Apple has revealed its latest gizmo, the iPad.
Now, one of theonly cool new features of this iPad is the iBook store - allowing people to buy and read books on the iPad, similar to an eBook reader.
Me being a student and needing a lot of books and all, I thought this could be quite useful - afterall, despite it being rather bulky its still better than carrying about 10-15 books in my bag all day.
BUT!
Reading through the Apple's page upon the iPad, I came across a little titbit of information within the fine print. What did it read, you ask? It said:
"iBooks only available within the U.S."
...yay, I live in England.
It didn't say if/when it would be comming to other area's. Sooo for an unspecified amount of time, one of the most interesting looking points of the iPad will be unavailable to me or anyone in Europe/Asia/Africa/you get where I'm getting at.
How does everyone else feel about this? Unfair? Couldn't care less?
edit: heres the link for the fine print in question. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page to see it. http://www.apple.com/ipad/features/
