So, I recently picked up an iPhone, and I was just wondering if you get charged for internet usage if you're connected to your home's WiFi network.

Depends on your network provider. In the UK, all contract iPhones come with free internet. Pay as you go may charge. If that is your case then you will probably be charged for using it.
Wifi should be free though as long as you don't use a 3G signal to connect to the internet.

if you use your home wifi no, you'll be using your home internet connection not the cell network
so you could be charged if you're over your limit for dl that month
