Iron Man 2 will first be shown in... Sweden?

I'm confused. Very, very confused.

I loved the first Iron Man, and I'm excited for the second one. It's just... Apparently it's going to be released the 28 of April here in Sweden, more than a week before the us release.

Why is this happening? I don't really want to question it, seeing as how I live in Sweden and this is in fact awesome news, but... Why would Iron Man 2 be released here first?

Does anyone have any answers?

As I pointed out in another Iron Man 2 thread, this isn't the first time a Marvel Comics film debuted somewhere other than the USA - Spiderman was in Kazakhstan before the US release.

I had to have a full fledged argument with a guy in my class that Kazakhstan was a real country, I even resorted to waiting till geography grabbing a map , circling it and throwing it on his desk.

Nah, it exists. I actually live here. Not as ludicrously stupid as in Borat, but still far from great. Kinda like post-Soviet Russia. Or any other post-Soviet country, for that matter.

But then again, even some Russian guys don't believe my city (200.000+ people) exists. So yeah.
