Is anyone dissappointed with Lost?

After just watching the next to last episode of Lost this evening, I can't help but feel that the last six years have been nothing but a build up to a pile of unanswered questions and a weak ending to a series that I believe started out rather strong. Is there anyone out there who can make me feel better and say that it's all going to be ok; that the show will end with no or few loose ends? Or do most of you agree that much of the mystery of the show will just be answered with vague ideas and essentially a boss fight between Jack and Locke?

Here in the UK, the last aired episode was 'Across The Sea'. That answered a few questions, but with even more questions. As always. Basically, the creators have promised that everything, every loose end, will be tied up by the end of the last episode. They have roughly 2 hours left to do all that. Which means either we'll all be disappointed, or, as is more likely, the last two episodes will be info-dumps combined with epicness that make for the best episodes of the show to date. Personally, I'm angling for the latter :D.

Oddly enough, too, the last episode (a double episode) is entitled 'The End', I believe, while the next one in the UK (just aired in the US and Canada) is entitled 'What They Died For'. Sounds a little ominous to my ears...

Also, let me make this clear right from the off. USE SPOILER TAGS!!!!! 'Across The Sea' is the last episode aired so far in the UK so those of us who watch Lost will not appreciate spoilers from 'What They Died For' when it hasn't aired yet. So if you talk about that episode, please, for the love of Anoia, use spoiler tags. Thank you.

Honestly, I have been expecting it to be shit for a while now. The previous episode, the one that was meant to explain the back story between Jacob and his brother really told us jack shit. Just made us wonder what that friggin light was and why they cant kill each other.
I am willing to give it to the last episode to surprise me but yeah, I am not holding my breath.
It really is just poor story telling and looking back on the series, if it were not for how hot Evangeline Lilly is I doubt I would have wasted my time with that smeg.
I couldn't agree more. Just introducing more characters to us, and posing more questions two episodes from the finale is not good story telling. Short of having Walt sitting in a chair and answering questions via hotline, I don't think they have a chance of spinning this whole thing into something truly coherent. *sigh*
