No, not the city, but the tv-series starring Donald Glover.

I'm in the mood for some comedy, I've heard some good things about it and I rather like Glover, so I was wondering if it's worth picking up.

I've come to really dig it. I remember the 1st couple episodes being pretty boring and being like "what the fuck is this garbage?" It was probably like episode 3 or 4 where I either "got it" or it became good or something, but I really enjoy it now. Most of the dialog is pretty, I guess, low-key with subtle cleverness worked in and there's the occasional laugh out loud moment. The first episode of season 2 (which just started) involved a highly entertaining scene featuring a gator.

Yeah, I've since watched the first half of the first season, and I get what you mean.

It's not a series that provides constant big laughs, but more a slow burn that gets funnier as you get to know the characters, their quirks and the way they interact with each other and the world. I also like how it juxtaposes the comedy with drama, how it sometimes lets reality abruptly ensue during silly situations, or vice verse.
