So sex thread again . But not so much . Iv'e tried looking on the internet ( although not too hard ) about lowering someones libido . And all i got is people asking how to increase ones sex drive . Great! So since i know people are the escapists are smart ( and sometimes weird ) i bring the question to you . Is it possible to lower your libido .

You see , i think about sex . A lot . Too much . And it does get quite bothersome . I would like to find a way ( without having to cut my penis off ) to lower my sex drive/will to have sex all the damn time . I spend most of my day thinking about sex , and people i want to have sex with . I want this to stop . I could wait for nature to take it's course and get old and stop caring . But i'm an impatient man . If i could i would become Asexual ( which ,unfortunatly ,is impossible since Asexuality is not a choice .... I think ). So i'm looking for outside sources to lower my sex drive. To like nonexistant . Is this possible ? There are many ways to increase a persons sex drive , but are there any ways to reduce it ?

Bonus question : would you personally ever want reduce your libido? Apparently sex is the big thing in society and most people would want to increase it , but what about reducing it ?

Masturbate more. It'll calm you down and relax you so you'll stop thinking about sex for a while. Then when you start thinking about sex again go masturbate some more. This isn't really going to lower your libido so much as just give it an outlet so it's not all bottled up.

As far as the bonus question goes, not really. I don't need to reduce it or increase it, my libido is just fine.

Personally I'd love to kill my sex drive, I hate the fact that I love women but none will ever love me so I'd pay for something that could remove my libido.

Sorry, I have no advice for you on how to lower your libido. Given the choice, I wouldn't lower mine. If it happened by itself, I wouldn't have a problem with it but I wouldn't actively seek it.

Find a way to lower your testosterone levels. At least that's what I've been told by a few transsexual people I've met online. They started with a testosterone blocker first for a few weeks/months before taking estrogen. And during those weeks/months their libido went down considerably. It didn't disappear, but it was put on the background a little more, you could say.

Chemical castration is a thing (and it's reversible despite the name) although the side effects are pretty serious since you're effectively pumping hormones into your body to counteract your natural ones, weight gain, bone damage etc are common I believe, so perhaps that isn't a solution for you or the OP. Besides Xan, there's over three billion females in this world, I'm sure one is them is right for you!

As for the bonus question, I'm fine where mine is right now, it doesn't control me and it would be hell boring not to have one at-all.

Yeah, Xan, "hang in there, you'll find someone". Also, I can say this sort of insufferable platitude because you don't know where I live.

Forgot to mention this yes. The way that transsexuals do it is basically chemical castration. And common effects are indeed weight gain (though not by too much), bone damage (though rare or at least very light), but also softer 'curves' for as far as you have curves (men are more angular), and even possible slight breast growth. Slight as in, you could look like you have small man boobs after a while. So by means of pills (the chemical way) is not your best option most likely.

But I'm sure there are also other ways to just lower your testosterone levels a little bit.

Ehm, if you have a clinical depression going, the drugs you can get prescribed will make a rather large dent into it, that's one thing I know of.

As for bonus question? I don't really care either way, to be honest...

This is probably going to sound like an odd suggestion but a lot of people apparently stopped masturbating or at least had a lower desire to after reading Katawa Shoujo.
Although this is according to some picture I saw on 4chan so I can't vouch for how accurate it is.
So if you havent done that go try it.
Didn't happen to me but everyone is different I suppose.

Masturbate more, exercise more (supposable it burns testosterone), get fat, shock therapy, watch some really bad porn
I think that's all I can come up with.

Stay up all night for several nights in a row, sleep, and repeat. Try doing this all summer. I did this once and I had zero sex drive for months. Plus I still have rings around my eyes even years later.

Yes you can. There are plenty of ways to lower ones Libido, though many of them involve you putting foreign substances into your body. I unfortunately found this out the hard way. My current girlfriend/fiance has a much higher sex drive than I do, mainly because of my rampant substance abuse when I was younger. I rarely crave sex, and usually have to try and psych myself up for sex in the first place to please her (I have to make sure she is physically taken care of as well as emotionally). That isn't to say I don't enjoy sex, because I do. The thing is, I just don't think about it all that often, nor do I find it to be high on my list of things to do.

There are other methods of lowering the sex drive as well. But to be honest, I would just try to enjoy it for now. Until you are at least 35, don't try to lower your sex drive. You see once you hit 30 or so, your sex drive begins to diminish naturally, and as an added kick to your ego, the female sex drive starts to increase around that age (at least as the norm, this doesn't apply to everyone).

So try to hold out, but if your situation is to the point that you really need assistance feel free to PM me. You may also want to see a doctor about this issue, as I am sure there are safer ways than the way I lost mine.

Oh I thought it was so easy to get laid these days, so why would you want that?

Its simple, find other things to do, get your mind off sex. the brain is an animal of habit, so it gets used to thinking the same ways or of the same things easily, and you can use that to train it to different behavior.
I doubt that just masturbating more helps, it miht actually achive the opposite.

cutting off your penis wouldnt have much effect, the testicles are at fault. allways blame the testicles.

Think of something that would cease your urges like family perhaps? That your grandfather and grandmother's souls are watching over you all the time. I suppose that'd work if they've passed away or you believe in the after world.

Maybe try occupying yourself with tasks that have nothing to do with sex, like playing violent video games or tackling really difficult math problems, unless those somehow turn you on of course.

Masturbate whenever you think about sex. Four, five, six times a day, I don't care - whenever it comes into your mind, get out some porn and whack it.

Source: worked for me. Had a bothersome libido; beat the living hell out of it.

I also hear eating liquorice works wonders for dropping your libido.

Do I know how to lower your sex drive? Get a physical hobby. Go insane with rock climbing or whatever..
The physical burn-out helps greatly... and yea, plenty of other benefits.
So I'm told at least.

Would I ever lower my sex drive?
Never. Love my libido ;) hahaha
Between me and my girlfriend and past female relationships... Need my libido ;) haha
