No. The law doesn't agree with me it seems, but I don't view it as wrong. Even when I own a functional cartridge and a functional console for an old-old-old school game, it's illegal for me to download a ROM to emulate it, but not illegal for me to rip it from the cartridge itself.NuclearPenguin said:

It's not like groceries where you need to refresh your amount. Games are meant to be bought once for individual or multiple users.

Sure, noone was harmed to get it, but it's still technically child pornography.
Just like your pirating doesn't harm anybody physically. And even the potential money lost is such a negligible amount it doesn't cause enough harm worth paying attention to when using common sense. In addition to the fact that your harm would be merely economic even if it was seen as worthy of attention; While a CP case would involve physical harm or forcing someone against their will to participate if it was worth prosecuting.
