Is MW2's MP balanced?

I hate to be making a thread about this game due to there being so many, but this question will decide if I purchase or not. With all the new perks and kill streaks is the game still balanced. It seems like there will just be too much going on in MP that the game will get bogged down random deaths and people camping to get the high kill streak.

I just want to know what to expect when walking into MP, is it similar to MW1 or does all the new things added ramp up or take away from the online fun.

In fact, this is easily one of the most balanced multiplayer games I've ever played, as every strategy has its counter, and players at every skill level can contribute to their team in some unique way.

Ive seen a few videos of matches, killstreaks look horridly imbalanced, especially the chopper gunner one (you get to man the gun of a self flying hovering jet which has a set flight path over the map) as its just spawn camporama.

Well, IGN says it's perfectly balanced, so I'm just going to believe that until I get the game later today.

It takes time for people to root out the imbalances in a MP game.

Give it a week or even a month then come back and ask.

So any claim its balanced or even "best balance evar!!" from IGN is just lol.

No worries, while it is a 25 killstreak reward, people will camp for it anyway, same with the AC130. Since they added even more auto shotguns to the game you ca see this being a big problem.

I hated the shotguns in the COD4, the addition of auto shotguns is going to annoy me more.

Well I have been playing multiplayer for a couple of hours and it seems to be balanced. I have yet to come across a gun that is over powered. and no one ever gets more then 5 kills.
