whenever i look at video games it always seems that Xbox 360 users seem to get the Better Deal but i have not owned a Xbox 360 for a Long enough period to judge and make a precise assumption.

So i thought you guys would know many of you are PC users PS3 Wii and Cross Box owners but what console gets the most benefits.

I believe it to be Xbox 360 just due to the fact that They have Dead Money DLC already out for the Cross Box while the PS3 users haven't even got anything or how Xbox 360 gets early DLC for instance the MW2 DLC.

But then again Ps3 users get ABCIview and PrimeTV im not sure if Cross Box users have one or not and i don't know what PC has Iview as well.

NOTE: Cross Box = Xbox 360

Sorry bout English as well Still learning

Why do you call it 'Cross Box'?
Scratch that, I don't care. Why do you type it out for everyone else as Cross Box? It seems like a legit thread, with a legit discussion...so why make it potentially confusing with obscure, or personal, nick-names for things? I had no idea what you were talking about until the end, and I just had to ask: 'Why?'
I just don't get it.

Anyways: I don't think any console, strictly on the merits of beyond-game content (DLC, demos, internet services, etc.) has anything 'up' on any other console. They all have exclusives in one way or another, and are all a bit different. I mean, I have my preference, but if we're talking objectively, I don't think any is 'better' then another.

Why do you keep saying "Cross Box", with random capitalization over and over. It seems a little creepy and makes me not understand your post in general.

Well the delayed stuff on PS3 is usually cheaper, or comes with more stuff so you could say it's a better deal but delayed...
And PC games on average come with a 15% lower price...

So I don't know, I guess if you want to see xbox being having a better deal then so it is.

DW i Fixed it Reason why i say Cross box is that in Russia all my mates called it the Cross Box Because my friend Krill attacked his Xbox with a Axe and made a Cross on top of the xbox.

Can we forget the cross box thing it's not that important and actually i think it's kinda catchy. I'm going to call it that from now on. Back on topic microsoft can afford to drop their prices since they are a computer company they earn enough money that it doesn't effect them to drop there prices. I know sony is an electronics company but microsoft is bigger than sony. Remember that there are tons of electronic companie that sell the same things that sony sell but there isn't that much competition for microsoft. Also games for PS3 take a lot longer to make and a lot more money. Even if a game is on both cross box and PS3 the ps3 version will cost more becasue it's better and much more expensive to make. i know i have neglected the wii becasue i hate the bloody thing and pc games are expensive because no one really plays games on computer any more. thats why cross box games are cheaper.

Personally, i have every console but "crossbox" (lol) and a gaming pc and i dont feel like its worth getting a xbox. If you have a PC then you can play almost every 360 game. Besides, i hate competetive multiplayer in most games, so i have no reason to pay 15 bucks a month on xbox for the only thing better than ps3.

Does it matter what he calls it?

I don't think the Xbox has anything better or up on the PS3 or PC apart from getting a few DLC's earlier (because they probaly paid to have them earlier)

I have both an Xbox and PS3 and in my eyes the PS3 has the slight advantage. It's personal prefrance which will make you think one has it better than the other.

I'm still using the argument "it's all down to personal preference" because really, that's the only thing that makes any console as good as they are. They're all pretty underwhelming nowadays, most mainstream games aren't as great as we envisioned they would be in 2006. The PC is the one case where I could say that the personal maintenance of the machine is a major factor in garnering enjoyment from it (as a PC gamer myself, I love the electronics side to it).

But yeah, no machine could possibly be deemed "better" based on anything other than personal idealism. This is a greatly balanced generation and as far as I'm concerned the only generation where owning all four machines will actually expand your horizons rather than limit you to one good machine and three "crap" machines.

The Xbox 360 is the worst console this generation. [...] It has inferior hardware to the PS3, its only exclusive worth a look is Dead Rising.
That is a terrible statement. The Xbox computer - a small computer basically - has "inferior hardware" to the PS3, basically a large GPU? Nononono. Some engines will have better overall performance on 360, some on PS3. They have dissimilar architectures and are impossible to measure up, either by graphics quality or memory-wise. Microsoft's support is fucking atrocious, let's leave it at that.

pfffft I think alot of people have given up on the wii/nintendo a long time ago

the way I see it owning a wii is like owning a dvd player that can only play REALLY bad kids movies, there are good movies but they are seaquels to franchises that Ive LONG since lost any interest in

sure some people might defend the wii, But I ask them do you own ONLY a wii? or do you have another systm? just saying....

I will say that yes things are very console focused (im a PC) but I get by ok with only one platform

Honestly it comes down to personal preference. Each of the systems has its own benefits and weaknesses, so whether one is better than the other depends entirely on your own situation. Also it depends on what exclusives you want the most.

With Mass Effect 2 (better graphics, extra stuff) and Dead Space 2 (contains the previously wii exclusive Dead Space: Extraction) having extras on the PS3 I'd say Sony have noticed this and are working on it. But yeah overall I'd say there's a bit of 360 bias in general.

From a programming point of view, the 360 is a lot easier to develop for than the PS3 (which sony made hard to do on purpose so that it wouldn't realise its full potential for a while or some pretentious crap), and doesn't suffer from piracy quite as badly as PC games do. So it does kinda make sense really.

And yet, the PS3 has shock protection & never had that crap overheating problem.
In terms of performance, I got no idea.
What is it that causes them to die, then? My flatmate said his had some sort of yellow light thing, and had to be repaired.

In terms of versus, for me one of the major factors is the controller. The 360's is just so much better than the PS3, shaped to fit the hand rather than a blocky lump. Most likely because Microsoft took so much shit about the original Xbox controller.

Its all kinda like a cycle, everything has its turn and then the 'new' console are released and the reigns get snatched from the PC again.
