Are there any games that have a similar tone or message about sci fi shooters to what Spec Ops talked about with military fps?
Black Ops II in particular. The main villian in the game is one of the most sympathic I've seen in a shooter, or a war game.Ambient_Malice said:Call of Duty: Black Ops/Black Ops 2. That's the closest thing I can think of. Though they're far less railroady and manipulative than Spec Ops.
I assume you're looking for bleak FPS games with anti-war leanings where nothing is as it seems.
It would have worked better if they had actually finished the rest of the story, what was going to happen in the sequel was the good part.TheArcaneThinker said:Yea there is one....
Its star wars republic commando . Though the tone and the message is light , it is still there .
It about the hard life the soldiers live and how order have to be followed .
It's the best fps I have played to this day and is huge fun . The game is a 9/10 .
Its on pc as well as xbox...
Perhaps the least known Star Wars game ever. The game was great, though what josemlopes said is right. The sequel's story could have gone in so many directions. I doubt we will ever see a revival of the game, considering Battlefront will be the Star Wars FPS game for the next few years.TheArcaneThinker said:Yea there is one....
