I could be making a big to do about nothing or it could very well be something. For a long time I was so good at typing, I was super fast and never made a mistake (or hardly ever) but now I catch myself making big mistakes, like spelling out mean as eman or time as itme, basically replacing every first letter with the second letter. Now I know some of you would say it's just bad typing (or something)but I've been doing it so often lately and I could swear I typed it out correctly, it's like my mind tells me I hit all the right keys when I really didn't.

I also find myself screwing up my words a lot too, it's hard to explain but when I'm talking to someone I'll....it's like going really fast in a car then stopping all of a sudden (slamming on the brakes) know what i mean? Am I slowly becoming dyslexic? I'm probably thinking too much into it but still.

EDIT: I should also mention when I'm reading something I find I read it wrong, like I'll read disturbed as disturbing or something like that, I don't understand it.

This is a huge problem, symptomatic of a much larger issue.

The only cure is to remove your brain. Get yourself to a good doctor!

But really, no, you're fine. Just chill.

You're most likely just thinking too much into it, then making it worse by worrying about it. I don't exactly have great typing myself, i move between letters way too fast. I seriously just typed 'typing' four times trying to get it right. It's probably more of a psychological thing, don't read too much into it.

I think your just not relaxing when you type, or your just tired. or possibly your overthinking this.

I have the same thing, and all I needed to do was slow down.

Calm down, take a night off and return fresh and new.

Slow down! Your just typing to fast! I do it a lot too. My left hand seems to be quicker then the right so I tend type letters on the left side of the keyboard first.

I can type well, accurate and fast as long as I dont think about it. Its only when I think about it I start screwing up.

Is it not just because ur trying to type too fast? As u said ur pretty confident in ur typing ability, are you not just going a little bit faster than u usually type and getting a bit mixed up? I say this because it sounds very similar to a problem i have sometimes when it comes to playing riffs on my guitar, when i try and play too fast i get it wrong = P

I do the same thing all the time, it's bloody annoying when you're trying to type out a review, you finish the review, check it, proof-read then spell-check it, post then notice you've typed good as god. I've also missed letters out of words a lot too, normally the odd vowel here and there.

It's how fast you type, probably. Plus if you're thinking about what you want to type instead of thinking about what you are typing at the time, you're more likely to trip yourself up now and then.

And if you're interested, I had to retype a few words in this post about 2 or 3 times. So I wouldn't worry if I was you. :3

There is more than likely something that can be deemed wrong with you, but that can be said about everyone. A small aches and abnormalities. I am sure if you spoke to a shrink I am sure they could tell you that you got some complex or something. But that is the same for everyone.

You are probably fine, could be anything, maybe your typing too much or too little, maybe your doing something differently without knowing. Maybe it is your keyboard mucking up on you. I know I type loads better on my full sized keyboard than I do on my small laptop. It could be stress, could something else be distracting you slightly.

There are loads possible reasons why. I doubt it could be the formation of dyslexic, That tends to always be with you, there are many forms but it generally effects reading and memory.

When it gets cold and I type, my fingers get stiff and I tend to miss keys. That could be the problem with you too.

I tend to make such mistakes as well, it's no real cause for concern, it's likely any combination of things, for example I seem to type too fast, my keyboard is a bit knackered, and, who knows, mild dyslexia? It's possible but it's nothing that would or should really hamper me, or anyone else, as long as they don't have it severely.

You've just probably been a bit slow as of late. I've gone through phases like that before.

However, I'd be concerned about how you've been freaking out about this and making a thread on the internet about it...
