Is this for real in the new South Park game?

I have heard some odd things going on around the new South Park game and one of them was that they have created a device that allows you to smell the farts that your character creates in the game.

Is this for real?

It is real, no it doesn't come with the game. Yes it is a stupid idea made up by people who have no idea what people want.

It's pretty obviously meant as a parody of the occulus rift/vive and all of that. I'd argue that those are also made by people who have no idea what people want, for people who have no idea what they want.
