Is this game dead?

I was looking through my PS one collection today and I saw a game I use to love but barely anyone I know has heard of, let alone played it. So I thought I'd ask everyone here on The Escapist, has anyone played or remember "Tai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger"?

... was this the Wu Tang Clan fighting game? I have heard the name before but can recall very little else.
Wouldn't hold out much hope of finding a competitive scene for it though.

A game is not dead as long as someone plays it once in a while. So don't just stand there, go stick it in your playstation's pooper and play the damn thing!

I was cleaning out my closet recently and I stumbled across the first Digimon World game for the PS1.

...Suddenly I'm 10 years old again. I spent about 20 minutes debating between Agumon and Gabumon.

Ha, no thats not the Wu Tang Clan game,

I acutally have that game. Remember you had to have the code from teh booklet to turn the blood on and you had to do it each time you played or else there was no blood?

Blood Code? Is this for Wu Tang Clan or Tai Fu? because if it's for Tai Fu then the version releashed here in Scotland must have been different because the blood was always active and I never once had to put in a code for it

Wasn't Tai Fu the game where you was a tiger that beat the shit out of snakes? I've only played the demo version also containing Ridge Racer 4, so I'm sure it's more than that.

Yeah in Tai Fu you played as a Tiger and the most common type of enemy were different types of Snake.

I absolutely adored that game. I never knew anyone played it either. I really do wish that it was available on PSN. Unfortunately my original copy is broken.

Not Tai Fu, but there was Shaq Fu. I seem to remember it featuring Shaquille O' Neal and there was no blood.
Shaq Fu was on the Super Nes and Mega Drive though. :>

Kinda.

Mainly, I remember the Ninja Leopards and that it was amazingly stylised.
Also, extremely violent, I seem to remember showers of blood whenever Tai Fu put his claws through something.

Kind of similar gameplay to Akuji The Heartless and other platform/fighting type games right?

No, no it was not, it was about a Ninja Tiger, who was an actual tiger, who killed everything.
