Is this still the main GT vet hangout?

Can?t help but notice this site has seen much better days, and it doesn?t really show signs of changing for the better. I kinda get the feeling it?s going to pull a GT soon, given the year-end is right around the corner. Where will we go then, or has anyone already found a better hotspot? Perhaps it?s time to gear up for another migration.


Btw, has anyone stopped getting thread response notifications? It looks like that tab disappeared on the message page.

I'll probably just post some on YouTube or something. I've been given two other sites, but they just don't have the same feel as this place unfortunately, which makes it hard for me to wanna actually spend time there.

We started a Discord channel back in may which has around 30 members atm, not everyone is active but we're still quite a few who are.

Hell no. most GT Vet's can't stand this place and hang out on the Easyallies forums. which makes sense considering the Easyallies are exactly the same guys who used to work at GT.

Check this page to see if anything under Notification Options has been turned off. You can turn it on again and you will receive notifications for being quoted again, if you are a member of User Groups, you also have to manually go back to those groups and turn the settings back on again.

Note of warning, this might turn itself off again in a few days.

I much prefer the discord group. It's free from the saccharine "Love and Respect" toothrot that goes on in the Easy Allies forums(although I still watch their casts weekly)

I completely overlooked that, thanks. Weird thing was I still had badge notification on. Gotta love dem badges though.

yeah true the love and respect attitude of the mods in escapist can get pretty damn irritating. can't have any fun anymore like back on GT how me and El Shmiablo used to argue all the time.

on easy allies if there's even a slight disagreement between two users a mod steps in tells you to knock it off before a full on arguement can even get started. (probably to avoid the same type of heated discussions i've had with el shmiablo in the past on GT lol)
