It's sort of pointless trying to clone Minecraft, anyway - there's not much you can really add to it, from a gameplay point of view (plenty of content possibilities, sure, but Notch keeps adding to the base game); if there's an "ultimate game" for every genre, Minecraft IS the "ultimate-game" for its own genre already. Quit cloning and give Notch your piddly fifteen bucks already!

Pretty obvious ripoff but I'll never get the appeal to minecraft either so many hours spent creating thing's in a set world whne I could be improving at 3DS Max or learning better scripting.

For some reason it reminds me of something other than Minecraft. Maybe Second Life. I can't quite explain what it is even...perhaps the pasting of pictures into textures reminds me of sprays. I just can't put my finger on it, but there's something horribly familiar.

Edit: To clarify, I mean it reminds me of something other than Minecraft in ADDITION to being an obvious clone.

They've done the stupid thing and tried to make it higher-res. Minecraft looks nice because it looks consistent. This just looks like any of the millions of crappy source mods that have been made.

This is the problem with minecraft. I have it and I have spent some hours in there that I should have spent working on my coding, I might be good in 7 years or so I don't keep getting distracted. Or maybe I should finish that damn novel/open source game I was helping with that went under/one of my other million projects half finished.
