We all have movies that were so bad that they were actually good but what about games? Surely there are some out there that even though it was terrible you still enjoyed playing since it was so hilariously terrible.
The one that comes to mind for me is an old ass game called Soul Bringer, some of you might use it as a coaster since it came bundled with the much higher quality Planescape: Torment. But despite it being bad it had some things in it that were so ludicrous I finished it several times.
The most prominent thing that was funny was the fact that they implemented severing limbs to show how strong your character was. But this being ye olden days of gaming it wasn't perfect so limbs didn't fly off based on where you hit someone just how hard you hit them. So with high enough strength you could hit a guy in the shin with a blunt staff then his head and fore arms would skyrocket off (literally, I think some of them reached orbit)and blood would spray every where.
Then there was the poorly implemented system of elements, the more you cast spells of a specific element the more attuned you where to it eventually absorbing any damage you would have taken. There was a fire spell called Magma, it created a big ass pool of lava on the ground that damaged anything, including you, that was in it's radius. So with high enough fire attunement you had an absurdly over powered spell that killed anything trying to attack you, and healed you. I always laughed as wave after wave of hell spawned demons tried in fruitless vain to hurt me then have their limbs rocket off because they stood in a pool of fire.
So what're you're "so bad it's good" games?
