This is just fucked up. This one hits hard. Icon. Legend. An essential keystone in the world of cinema. Gone.

Yet the likes of Trump and Putin still breathe air they don't deserve.

Rest in peace, Darth Vader... Mufasa... King Jaffe Joffer... etc. You made the screen a joy to behold for decades, and your impact will be felt and remembered fondly for decades to come.

We are mortal. He was not on my radar to be next. Yet, he is in the same age range as one of my greatest heroes, Clint Eastwood (94). We are mortal. I am sad.

RIP you legend.

Sadly the entire OT cast, already thinned out as it is, is getting on in years. Mark Hamill is afaik the youngest at 72.

Bragging that I saw him in a play called the Gin Game with Cecily Tyson. It's just a two person play about two old people that snipe at each other and play cards and it was great.

My favorite on-screen moment of his is the famous "they will come" scene in Field of Dreams because that scene is just pure treacly cloying sugar but he sells it, I get embarrassed to have actual feelings about baseball ghosts.
