GTA comes out, and the media swarms over it being a horrible game for your kids.
Mass Effect is released and the media swarms over it being a Sex Porno Game that will corrupt your kids.
Modern Warfare is out and the Media blames various murders on kids playing the game.
Payday 2 comes out,a game LITERALLY ABOUT ROBBING BANKS...........and I haven't heard a single thing about the media going all over it for influencing our kids and making them want to rob banks in real life.

Is it bad that I am just waiting... EXPECTING... for the media to turn on Payday 2 in such a way?

We probably won't see anything as Overkill didn't spends millions marketing this. The mainstream media probably has no idea this game exist.

Wasn't ever going to happen as it's small game sold (at least I think entirely, sorry if I got that wrong) online, so no physical copies to be seen on shelves. There was no major ad campaign, so the "mainstream" would never even hear about it. The others you mentioned cost millions and had millions spent on adds.

First, this is first-hand, tangible evidence that the AAA game market is fucking up and there are ways to be profitable without compromising the game.
