John Carpenter's Halloween DLC Coming to Dead by Daylight Today

You can find out exactly what it's like to be Michael Myers in the new Dead by Daylight DLC.

Halloween season is here, and that means lots of things, like dressing up in a cool costume, eating too much candy, watching horror movies, and of course, playing horror games. The newest DLC for asymmetrical multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight combines both movies and games by adding content from John Carpenter's Halloween.

If you haven't played Dead by Daylight, it challenges four players to escape from a fifth player, who's cast in the role of horror movie villain, much like Michael Myers. With the new DLC, that player will actually be able to play as Myers himself.

There's a new character for survivors to play as well: Laurie Strode, the iconic character played by Jamie Lee Curtis in the movie. Also included in the DLC is a new map based on Haddonfield, Illinois, the suburb where the film takes place.

You can get all the info on the DLC over on the $6.99 on Steam [http://www.deadbydaylight.com/halloween/] (currently on sale for 10% off, bringing the price down to $6.29), and it's available now.

Anyone else think both Michael and Laurie look like those shitty bootleg looking 3d porn models?

First time heard about this game, my curiosite was piqued and i figured this might be for me but the steam reviews paint a depressing picture: that of survivors who know the game so well rather then run and hide they use all kinds of tricks/exploits to make things impossible for the killer to the point THEY are the ones taunting the psycho.

Shame, concept seems fun, wishlisted it for a future sale.

The people who complain about the survivors abusing infinite's is overblown. Trust me, most negative statements about playstyles are meta-hugging survivors complaining about meta-hugging killers, or meta-hugging killers complaining about meta-hugging survivors. In this case of infinite's, I can assure you that the people complaining here are largely Hillbilly mains that hate the fact he doesn't dominate every map in the game when survivors have plenty of windows to vault through.

...I'm a survivor main who doesn't run Sabotage, so I'm totally impartial here. Totally.
