Normally I side with yhatzee on the whole Jrpg argument, normally it just seems like a group of 3 or more 10-14 year olds with outrageous hair/weaponry/armor/methods of transportation trying to kill a bad guy who will eventually turn out to be the lesser of two evils, but I have to admit, Persona 3 is one of my very favorite games of all time,

So I ask you escapist, what Jrpgs do you like?

Star Ocean 3 and 4 (I liked 3 a bit more though)
Lost Odyssey (I still have yet to finish it. I'm ashamed of that, yes.)
Disgaea 1 and 2 (SRPG's with an amazing humor to 'em. Plus, who doesn't love doing millions of damage with a single attack?)

Personally, I don't care what type of game it is ('cept for those few genres I've more or less blacklisted) as long as it has one of the two following requirements:
A)Good story
B)Good gameplay

If it has both, then hell I've got a game to chalk up onto my 'favorite games' list.

Final Fantasy 10 is my favourite game of all time, and I loved FF 12 and FF VII: Crisis Core.

I generally like every title in the Final Fantasy series
[sub](Save for X-2, I hated that game with a passion.)[/sub]

Mother is also one of my favorites.

Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2, FFVII, FFIX, and I guess FFX. Not really a big fan of FFX, but it was still a solid game.

Oddly enough, Eternal Sonata, even though I know nothing of music. I had to have my friends explain the references. Luckily it was multiplayer.

Final Fantasy VI(Great characters, memorable villain, great story and the soundtrack is a masterpiece.)

Grandia II(Good story, great soundtrack and the combat system is really entertaining.)

I never beat Xenogears, but I really enjoyed that game. I liked the story, and using the mecha was really cool.
