I'm sure many of you will have noticed that the page's main image has finally been changed.

Unfortunately, there is still no new information to give you which was not originally covered in the FAQ. For those of you who missed that, you can find it here:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=345945482146470&set=a.293977660676586.62381.166777336729953&type=1&theater

With that being the case, a 2012 release for Persona 4 Arena is now no longer possible.

We will of course, continue to update you, as soon as we have more information.

We know this is very upsetting for many of you - us included, we might add - and we sincerely look forward to being able to deliver better news to you soon...

*Has a pre-order for Persona 4 Arena*

...FUUUUUUUUUUU

...Calm down Shaun calm down.
This pisses me off...now I have to get a PS3 copy from another country like I did with Mortal Kombat 2011. (Australia banned it. D:)

Atlus should of still released it...I was REALLY looking forward to it...they better bring Persona 5 out in all countries. D:<

Saw that coming to be perfectly honest. Whatever, i'm sure between Halo 4, AC3 and the exciting new changes to LoL in Season 3 they can keep me entertained until this mess of a game comes out...

Seriously, what could they possibly be doing? European build? What? It is literally the exact same game as the NA version but with a different region lock. I can't think of a single thing they could be doing that would take this long.

Oh and when Persona 5 comes around... Just watch the full year gap between NA and EU. I'm calling it. Nice challenge to dodge spoilers Atlus. Appreciate it.

Don't worry, we get "something nice" for waiting for this bullshit apparently (doubtful.) Whoop de fucking doo. Unless that includes a huge price drop I don't give a fuck.

Does region locking expand into cross region online play? If so thats really gonna kill the online scene.

Guilty Gear XBLA only releasing in certern Euro countries is the reason im avoiding that game, that and the fact Skullgirls has shown that $40k for a patch (plus $40k for sony) is a plague on small budget fighters.

I'm just getting into the genre and was looking to get a 2nd fighter to play online in the UK while I wait for the Skullgirls patch to be released. Even though I prefer 2D I settled on SF4 AC.

(still waiting on Konami put out a UK release date for ZOE HD... grumble grumble I hate Japanese publishers at times)

Oh no, a japanese developer / publisher who seems to be too incompetent to deliver their products outside of their borders, haven't seen that before...

Yeah, I feel with ya. Have some games on my list as well where they even promised a release...
Outside their borders? I currently have a copy of persona 4 arena , and i live in canada . Guess again.

OT: That's unfortunate . What is the difference between the NA and the EU versions that warrants such a setback. Sucks because it's such a good game.

Happens quite often, not just with Japanese developers too. I recall Lord of the Rings; War in the North being delayed for no good reason which took the piss considering Tolkien and the trust group the game had to be approved by hail(ed) from England.

I guess the best way to send a message would be to not purchase it?

Better yet, to buy second hand.

I don't know, Atlus is going to lose its credibility with European fans if it keeps up this sort of bullshit. I'm disappointed to say the least. No f**king information, not a clue about what's going on with their project, a double letdown for EU fans when Atlus promised that this whole region-locking bullshit would help the game get out at roughly the same dates in all territories. The whole thing is so annoying when I was looking forward to P4 Arena and had pre-ordered it in anticipation of an early September release.

That sucks so much. Europe always seem to get the short end of the stick. Here's to hoping you guys don't get as screwed with the next BlazBlue. :S

I can sympathize with Europeans a little better now with Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus being unavailable in Canada. To hell with region locks! T_T

Read this article and see why this is not Atlus' or Arc System's issue

I suggest you take your own advice because if you had read it you'd see that indeed the fault lies with Atlus.

Atlus have not submitted a completed European build so what can Zen United do about it? The latter categorically states that they are not involved with the development process which is why a comment concerning timeframe cannot be made.

This is totaly Atlus' fault for not bothering to complete their work for Europeans.

Zen United has a history of taking forever to localize games. The Blazblue games took about half a year each to get to Europe. Somehow i doubt Zen is entirely blameless.

So explain to us all how Zen are to blame in this case.

I am not familar with the reasons for the Blazblue delay, but if this incident is indicative of what Zen do then localization of the software has nothing to do with them at all, and everything to do with Atlus.

From that explanation it doesn't sound to be on their side, still i can' help but think it's an awfully big coincidence that these things always happen with Zen United releases. If nothing else they should at least get better on announcing realistic release dates.

Zen specialise in getting Japanese releases over to Europe. Considering the attitude expressed by many Japanese developers, could it be that they don't care enough/at all about Europe so Zen are always up against it?

Seems to me that without the likes of Zen nobody in Europe would be able to play the games legally and/or without difficulty. Strange how they seem to be getting a verbal kicking for no valid reason I can see on here.

double meaning:

well personally. persona 4 was fun but why should it get a re release in 2012. buy the old one. you have internet connection so just find an online distributor if you can't find it in physical stores.

also. what is up with that title. god. i thought it was annoying when people on Facebook did this. hash tags belong on twitter, just like poking belongs on Facebook and badges belong...well here.
