I'm 21, in college, have a job that usually schedules me 30 hours a week. I'm a science major so studying is an absolute must and I try to get at least 7 hours of sleep a day. I go to the gym around 1.5-2 hours a day and I don't plan on stopping lifting weights. The thing is...I'm a gamer. Always have been. And now, I play League of Legends with my friends who are considerably better and much more into it than I am. I just don't have the time to get skilled in competitive gaming, but I want to keep up with my friends. What could I possibly do to efficiently fit a significant amount of LoL time into an already busy schedule?

I have this same sort of problem in college -only mine is balancing a full course load, a job, and a huge social life that always wants my attention. It can be hard sometimes and there're days where I've spent all night playing games, or at least well into the night playing games because I didn't have any other time.

What I would suggest is perhaps to cut your weight lifting time down to maybe an hour a day, and then perhaps get the gaming in there for the extra hour. Unless you have some other kind of free time you could devote to it at the expense of something else.

It's hard to juggle, man, I totally getcha there. =/

Dunno if that'll help at all, but best of luck either way =)

As a college student, one of 2 things are abundantly clear:

You are either:
A) Poor as fuck
B) Rich, because your parents hand you all of their money for your schooling.

My suggestion would be to try to find some exercise equipment that you can keep in your residence, and drop the gym membership. This will cut all of the time you normally spend just commuting to the gym, and allow you to work out whenever you have a little bit of spare time. Going to the gym would imply that you go there and spend a solid chunk of time working out. Doing it at home would allow you to space it out over the day when you are getting other things done (laundry, baking something, general chores where a lot of waiting is involved).

Might not be feasible depending on your financial situation, but you can get some smaller things here and there.
