Just completed Dead Space 2: Severed! (Spoilers!)

I just completed the new DLC for Dead Space 2!
I really enjoyed it!
I would have liked it to be a little bit longer, but Id say it was descent for the price.

I really liked seeing the characters from Extraction return, (though I was disappointed McNeil didnt return).
I enjoyed the story, and it really seems like they amped up the difficulty.

I actually really liked the ending.
I would have liked a little more exposition, maybe a bit more of a hint at what we can expect to see next.

Also, the two guys in white REALLY reminded me of Firefly.
Those guys after River in the hospital episode.

As someone who never played Extraction, were all the characters in Severed in Extraction? Cuz i didn't give a shit about any of the characters.

As for the Necros, it's like Viceral just whent "SHIT! We didn't put enough Dividers or Twitchers in DS2 QUICKLY SPAM THEM NAO!" And the amount of advanced Necros was bullshit from a story point of view as there were none until like Chapter 5-6 but they're piling through the vents in Severed

And the ending... Let's just say the title is a bit more relevent than usual... Fnar fnar XD

The guy you play as, Gabe and his wife Lexine are in Extraction, all the other characters die (though theres one called McNeil that there was some some debate about)
I guess it wont be quite as good playing through the game if you dont know the characters already xD

I assume they went straight to the higher difficulty stuff because people who are playing the DLC will probably have played through the main game already.

I dont really see many people playing expansions before completing the main story, so they will already be used to the gameplay!
Though I really, REALLY hate the Dividers and advanced leapers.


I suggest looking for extraction and playing it if you have a wii or a ps3!
I really loved the game.
I enjoyed it more than the original Dead Space in fact!

was there only one divider in all of issac's story in dead space 2?, because I only ran into one? One whole one I mean. For that matter there were very few pregnants too, I liked it but seemed enemy variety wasn't much improved upon.

And I did love seeing the extraction characters again, but did anyone think that them being married was weird?? I was like what?? They never showed any connection of that kind in extraction? McNeil seemed likely to become her partner if anything? :S
