How obsessed have you//someone you know got obsessed with a game?

I know someone who wants to get a GOW tattoo, obsesed? Yes.
My friend went home early from college just to see if his pre-ordered copy of COD5 had arrived && was coincidentally off the whole time it was COD4 double XP a few weeks back.

The last game I got obsessed with was Mass Effect. I would stay up till like 5 a.m playing that game.

I tend to get obsessed with any RPG I play that gets me hooked: Fallout 3, Fable 2, Mass Effect.

My obsession is usually staying up until about 2 or 3 o'clock, playing either my main or alt. character.

Personally Ima bit of a COD4 addict. Tell myself I'll go on for an hour or so bout 7pm, then all of a sudden its half 2 and I have to be up in 4 hours.
Before I got live I clocked a good 200 or so hours in a few weeks.
I hate that games tell you how many hours you spent on them.
Makes you realise how many days in total you lost

I don't tend to display my obsessions with games physically with tattoos and such (though it has crossed my mind), but i usually realise i'm caught up with a game when i get it about 4pm in the afternoon get home turn it on and then only stop playing at about 4am in the morning when i need to take a piss.

I got obsessed with Mario Sunshine! Can't tell you how many hours lost just pondering about the island and its warp tunnels finding new cool things to do.

I need to get that game again.

When I was like 7 maybe I can't remember how old; back in the day of PS1 and Spyro:Gateway to Glimmer. I'd spend forever on the game. Though I never managed to complete it...

I easily get absorbed into most games and never leave that bubble. I have some very fond memories of being sat in front of a 10" screen cause it was the only one i could sneak into my room so i could stay up till the late hours playing LoZ:OoT/MM or the various Squaresoft/enix RPGs i have stored away.

My worst game obsession is probably with the Oddworld series, on which I have spent £500 or more on various items of memorabilia.

I never really liked the rest of the Spyro games.
I wish XBL would somehow magically get Gateway to Glimmer and put it up for download.

One of the BEST games EVER that was.

Mass Effect. Played until 3AM everyday on schooldays the first week I had it, moved the xbox to my room(which i only do if I'm gonna play for 24+hours in three days) faked being sick for two days to skip school, maxed to level 60, and I have another level 50, have played through it over ten times and clocked in over 250 hours into it.
