If Justin Bieber goes anywhere near any sort of product, I know it's not the product for me.
Justin Bieber wears clothes. He also eats food and drinks water. Does that mean clothes, food and water aren't right for you? Basically, not to flame you or anything, but that's completely stupid and condescending. Justin Bieber is not a bad thing, he's just not aimed at you as an audience, so don't start complaining until he starts moving into the type of music you do like. Otherwise we just get stupid haters and flame wars popping up over something completely irrelevant.

Anyway, as far as the topic goes, I don't particularly mind, in fact I applaud Microsoft for their business accumen on this. It's a very clever marketing strategy, taking something popular and using that to promote their own device. I want to buy Natal anyway (I am NOT going to start calling it 'Kinect'), though this won't affect my decision either way. But if it means more sales for Microsoft, then kudos to their marketing department, I say :D.
I like the way you think, sir.

I wasn't going to buy Kinect anyway, but this gives me an even better reason not to touch it.

It's something so lame, it just might actually work.

Come on guys, popular people promoting products? they have to take this opportunity, especially Bieber. He needs to milk this for as long as he can before people forget about him.

How many teen girls who are Justin Bieber fans own a 360 in the first place? Very little; they mostly will all have Wiis if any console at all. I can't see them running out and getting both a 360 and Kinect.
Didn't these people get earrings, jewelery, and makeup when they were seven? Aren't these the people that drink down money like a delicious Slurpee of greenbacks? Aren't these the people who have brothers with xboxes? I think those guys from Microsoft are genies geniuses.

I wasn't going to buy a Kinect in the first place, but now this just makes me hate the thing. Thanks Microsoft!

I see them running out and buying it, have you ever met a hardcore Bieber fan? Pretty crazy...
Nope, and I don't wish to. But there's being a hardcore Bieber fan and spending over $300 on a games console and a glorified eyetoy. If their parents have any sense they won't buy it.
You dont. You REALLY dont. They will make you a really unhappy person if you say he sucks.More so then any fan I have ever seen.

A bit low eh Microsoft?
Also Justin is a sell out. (Not that I know who he is, just any one who agrees to do shit like this is a sell out.) Oh and I feel this song is in order.

My point is not that I'm not going to eat or drink or wear clothes. My point is that I won't go near the products he advertises or the clothes he wears because they are not intended for me. By saying I won't go near his products, I am saying that I am not interested in Kinect because it is clearly not marketed to me. I do in fact, recognize that he is a human being.

It's an advertisment technique used nearly all the time!

Edit:
Oh ho ho.
I just had an interesting observation.

The Escapist Staff know that the majority opinion in the escapist is that Justin Bieber is horrible and he sucks etc so they bias their articles to appeal to us.

Disclaimer: I do not like Justin Bieber, I just like neutral news.
That could be true, or Tom maybe is a human being and has the opinion that Justin Bieber is a sellout. (Not that your human only if you have this opinion) A lot of The Escapist's news is opinionated.

Well, I don't really care what he does. I'm already deadset against the Kinect.
This

But let's assume for some odd reason I actually wanted Kinect, 1) I'd have to rebuy a 360 and 2) No I wouldn't because Bieber killed Kinect more dead than it already was.
