Welcome to the KKK posts( not what you think)! At random times every day of the week, I shalt post an odd question to help me on my Kwest. The Kwest to becoming the master of all information nobody gives a crap for. Today, I am posting the following!

Why in books, do people scream like this "arrrrggghhhhh!" Do you know anybody who screams with a g in it? Unless you the Terminator? Plus, WTH is that supposed to sound like?

P.S If you know the person known as Ben Croshaw the Genius (kissass) as featured on the wonderful Escapist site (kissass 2)please tell me, I have some concepts and the know how to help him in his own Kwest to make games that would not have a better use as threshing machine food.

When I yell in agony, it usually includes Gs. Sometimes as the first letter in a 7-letter word that we all know and love...
But, I digress.
I usually say "argh" when I'm hurt, but maybe some people yell "Buttercup!" instead.
Are you one of those people, OP?

I expect the "g" is meant to indicate the slight ululation you get when you scream, it's just not pronounced, like in "through", "though" or "fright".

If you have a suggestion for this Mr. Croshaw I would say just email it to him, or send him a message...but he seems fairly disdainful of most if not all of the correspondence he receives, so tread carefully.

with me, it's more of an RRRGH!!! sound, followed by many, many profanities.

But that's me. In my opinion, AAAARGH!!! isn't very often used, as wierd as that is seeing as it's in the media so much ><

Most people I know, when they go into an extreme state of pain often respond with ARRGGGHHHH!!! Usually when i do it though, it comes out as AHHHH! Different sounds for different people I suppose.
