*looks up* That's... A slightly odd title... Meh. Either way. I have a friend (yeah, who knew?) who has something called dyspraxia. For those of you who are not in the know, that means that he has the hand-eye coordination of a grapefruit. While he is training his coordination, there's still a long way to go. So I've been looking for something to help him, since controllers only go so far. Some games have only partial controller support, some have none at all. I've been looking up different programs to emulate a keyboard with a controller and so far I've tourned up... One. And I wondered if you (yes, you. Especially you, right there) had stumbled across something similar or even something better (who knows?) that can help him.

I assume you've come across Xpadder since it's the one most people will know of...there's an older version you can download for free after a bit of googling if you didn't want to shell out for the paid one. I've used it in the past and it does the job well enough. Other than that there's GlovePIE which is a little tricky to use but is very capable and can be heavily customized, though I'm not sure whether it supports standard gamepads...I know it supports some weird and wonderful things but I've only ever used it to map Wiimotes, nunchucks and Wii classic controllers.

edit: apparently it should work with any standard controller recognised by Windows.

There is Joy 2 Key, though I don't know how well it works - it's just the second one I've heard the most about after Xpadder.
