This is horribly ridiculous. An average sized model - I can understand.

2 inches? You've got to be kidding...
[sub]Oh dear God! The innuendo![/sub]
InYourEndo.

OT: That is ridiculous, why do that to that poor kid? He was just playing with his buddies during school lunch. What's this world coming to?

That thing is fucking miniature/

Honestly, how's he going to hurt someone with a piece of plastic?
Hey it could have been loaded. Who knows how many lives were saved thanks to that quick thinking principal.

Interesting, but I can't say I'm really surprised about these kinds of stories anymore. It's stupid that the mom is thinking about suing for it.
Why? The kid's probably completely freaked out and even said he wouldn't be bring any more toys to school, I'm sure a good lawyer could find a cause of action somewhere in there. Maybe the school district losing some money over this will teach them to calm the hell down, it was a lego for crying out loud. Had it been one of those squirt guns that are made to look like actual guns I might be on their side, but a two-inch lego is clearly an overreaction.
I'm not saying that because I don't think they could win. I just think that it's overreacting on her part as well.

I have two issues with this:
1-It's a two-inch piece of plastic that has all the lethality of... well, a two-inch piece of plastic.
2-The Mother is considering suing for what amounts to lacking common sense.

The Principal didn't like it because guns represent violence and they don't want to believe that children Enjoy violence. Just because kids like playing with guns doesn't mean they're psychotic. I drew a picture of a gun once, I was really bored and I drew demons on the exact same page. Does that mean I'm obsessed with Guns and Demons? Principals are too stupid these days, they assume we don't know how to lie that we always tell the truth unless they think you did something. Especially Catholic schools they are so stupid in there that I wish I could put a Pentacle just to annoy them.

I know how the kid feels. In Grade 4 me and a friend would draw things called "Stick Houses of DEATH" which included extremely stupid stickmen getting killed by objects of torture. We got sent to a mini therapy class where the therapist asked us "Are these drawings of your classmates?" The teacher knew we were both social rejects, so she figured we wanted to kill everyone around us. I was scared shitless.

Although I think I can understand how we became social rejects in the first place...

So, while this fuck-tard of a principle could have been dealing with real issues, like bullying and such, she was terrifically some poor little kid for having a tiny plastic gun. Could have been concentrating on making school a better place, but instead she was having a freak out over legos. Shut the fuck up and do your real job you stupid fucking spaz.
You know, i bet she is the kind of principle who can't understand why some kids hate school. I bet she finds it real difficult to understand why kids find school to a be a depressing, oppressive place.

Grab a life you miserable *****.

Gee, I wonder how that principal would have reacted if the kid had brought a Batman water pistol instead.

I'm aware of how redundant it is to post this image but

I mean come on! I'm mostly against the right to bear arms, but it's lego! ( I don't want to get into a debate right now about guns so please don't bring it up)

Realty must be in really bad shape if the internet can reach a consensus on how messed up it is out there.

I once got in trouble for pretending to be a robot with a laser gun. Apparently fun has become unacceptable in school.

What the hell?! It's a LEGO! This shouldn't even be a question! How is this person a principle?
What blows my mind is they forced him to sign a statement.

Boom! Trouble ensued, with Patrick's mom getting a phone call from Public School 52 Principal Evelyn Mastroianni saying her son had somehow gone from straight A's to the NRA.

What does that ***** have against the NRA?
