Kinect Sports: Football Demo

I'm trying to stay positive about motion controls. Admittedly they're not for me, but they could be fun for the casual gamer. Then I saw this.

Oh dear.

I know it's only a minigame and by their very nature there will be rubbish ones mixed in but even for the most casual gamer surely this is far too lame?

I didn't see anything wrong with it. Sure the graphics aren't the greatest but that is of little concern when dealing with avatars. I would have like to have seen what the player was doing though. That is what will make or break it.
