The style of the new Kirby game worried me a bit, but when I saw the game play I was somewhat relieved. What are other people thoughts on their first look at Kirby's Epic Yarn

I was dissapointed with Epic Yarn, I refuse to call it a Kirby game due to the lack of floating and copy powers. Now, if it were to be called Steve's Epic Yarn where everything Kirby is replaced with new characters and environments, it could potentaily be a smash hit.

However, removing the super-tuff pink-puff's only abilities that set him apart and giving him a piece of magic string? Shame on whoever thought that was a good idea.

I saw the title, and it looked like Kirby's epic yam. I laughed a bit.

This. Couldn't have said it any better.

I like the idea of Kirby's Epic Yarn and I am definately gonna buy it, but I wish that it was the Kirby game that was shown at E3 Circa 2006 (or was it '05?) not that. I was so looking forward to a game that reminded me of Kirby 64. But whatever. Kirby is Kirby, and he's Epic.

Unfortunately, the Kirby game that actually looked promising was scrapped.
Alas, I too wished to see said game come to fruition, but I guess not.

The style is actually the only thing I like about it. It looks like an interesting way to make neat graphics offer up a cool gameplay element.

The fact that they're marketing it as a Kirby game is kind of disappointing, as he no longer retains his classic ability that's made him so awesome! Ah well, at least the game still looks good.

It looks gorgeous, but I haven't seen any gameplay footage. And I no longer have access to a Wii so I doubt I'll be playing it when it gets released.
