Now first of all I would like to say that I am as excited as anyone for L4D2.
Buuuuut some of the characters, and zombies seem a little corny.
When the opening on the demo started, it seemed a complete opposite of the original opening.
In the first L4D the survivors seemed desperate and alone running for their lives and barely escaping after a frantic shoot out.
In the new one they seem like they cant wait to carve up some zombies, or as Ellis so eloquently puts it "kill all sons of bitches."
This isn't necessarily a bad thing its just a little jarring considering the last game was so serious.
Sure there was a little comic relief every now and then with the tattooed biker dude, but you were mostly feeling desperate, and on edge.
If a clown zombie is running up to me while spouting gibberish I'm going to laugh if anything.
Im still excited about the game and cannot wait to "kill all sons of bitches" but im going into the game with a completely different attitude and it will be AWESOME!
Which do you prefer, the old way or the new way?
