So im going away in September down to London for this years Eurogamer and was looking to buy a decent gaming laptop for the trip down and for uploading photos and videos while there.

In terms of performance, i want to be able to run, to name a few: The Witcher 1/2 (to atleast medium), Dungeon Seige 3, or pretty much any recent RPG smoothly! With a budget of up to £1200.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Toshiba Satellite A660 or A665

They're relatively cheap, i7 processor, 4 GB ram, runs the witcher 2 on default settings ( I never tried turning it to high ). Graphics card is nice, I think. The only downside is that it isn't 1080p, or if it is, its wasn't in the advertising

A tip when buying any laptop, buy them refurbished, all it means is that someone bought it and returned it usually. ( as they can't resell a used product as new ) Only on rare occasions do refurbished laptops actually have problems.

I'd have to agree with Seraj here, but if you get the chance to customize the laptop you're looking at (either the A660 or A665) see if you can get it with a multiple core AMD processor, as that would make the total cost of the thing a whole bunch cheaper.
