ITT: we'll take a look at retro titles and dwell on the innocence of youth, or perhaps the maturity that comes with age, or just...y'know talk about old games.

Anyways, last game you played that was made before you were, GO!

last game I played that's older than I am (1994)
would have to be Super Mario world. (1990)
Before that, castlevania III (1990),
and Castlevania IV(1991) after seeing them on AVGN.

and if you're not sure whether you came before a game or not, use wikipedia!

And I thought I was the youngun.

I don't know, Half-Life perhaps? System Shock 2?

EDIT: lol, apparently not System Shock 2. Or Half-Life, for that matter. I've got no idea.

I was born in 1987. So were talking pretty retro here. I don't remember the last game I played that was older than me. Probably Pong.

I was born in 1990, so that doesn't leave many options. Games have only gotten better since I first took up the controller and I'm not looking back before my time for fun.

I'm not sure, but I think Dizzy Down the Rapids is a few months older than me.

Uh, hard to remember which of them was last since it was very long time ago. I don't know Pong, Oregon Trail, Zork, Breakout or if we would count clones than maybe Snake? I'm from 1979, games older than me are retro-retro.

The NES version of Spelunker, which I first played just last week. The US version being 2 years older then I am and the Japanese version being 4 years older.

played astroid and pacman on a Atari 2600, but, the earliest game I played was pong on some weird console with wheels.

*Edit Might I add that my father was so thrilled about seeing this console that he played against me, I guess that would be my first "multi player" game (haha)

Nethack [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetHack], played it a few days ago and it's 1 year older than me.

The oldest game I've played is Rogue [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_(computer_game)](8 years older than me), unfortunately I lost it when I got a new pc.

EDIT: Funny, I post this and within minutes I find a working version of Rogue. [http://rogue.rogueforge.net/rogue36/]

No idea. The Atari 2600 is literally weeks older than I am. What were the launch titles?

EDIT: Looks like the first title was Combat, which I definitely remember playing. Well, some of it anyway. I remember the tanks bumping into walls and stuff.
