It seams valve has announced left 4 Dead 2 to be released November 17. I dont know if anyone has posted this, but Mod DB has some of the latest updated on it.

L4D 2, what do I have to say to that..... FUCK U VALVE. I just shelled out 50 bucks for L4D. LdD was a good game, but the content was promised to be much,much more. There was supposed to be a nice SDK, a good 4 player vs. 4 player matchmaking system, tons of new maps,modes, ew things to do, and more. Now valve has caught the EA bug and decide to release a new game only 1 year after the first one. I didn't get much content out of the first game, and they are giving up on the game that they promised so much. The beta SDK just came out and now they are going to release a brand new game that has everything they promised in the first place, and charge 50 bucks for it. NO....NO valve, I reject your EA type thinking. I WANT my Zoey, Bill, Francis, and Louis, I do not want these new survivor...... things, ppl, whatever. You promised me a game with more content, so give me more content in the first game...... I am not going to get L4D 2 even thought it looks EPIC. Valve you have caught the stupid from EA and I hope you improve. Here are some ways to improve :

1. Make l4D 2 into a big DLC pack for the original L4D

2. Charge 10-30 dollars for the DLC.

3. IF you aren't going to make it a DLC, offer a deal for ppl who own L4D 1 by only making it 30 dollars.

If valve does some of these things I might buy the game.

They promised the content and features in the first game that we bought. We have a right to be pissed when we are denied this and are told to buy a entirely new game just to get the content that was promised for the first fucking one.

I did not just get the game, I had it since it came out, and I do not want a 2nd game every year, valve, pretty much any game development team need years to make a good game or 2nd game, if u make it in a year it will be only be bad.

The graphics look a lot better, and I like how it was not always night time. I'm not sure about the characters, but the fact they can pick up and use melee weapons is very nice.

Unfortunately, no. I downloaded but it lags like crazy. Especially if theres another Survivor on screen.
