Left 4 dead 2! Now with puns....

so i was watching the new vids for left 4 dead 2 with volume waaay up, and noticed some of the survivor dialoge was verry.... bad. e.g

*player picks up axe*
"Go ahead axe me a question!"

or

*player hits zombie with frying pan*
"Time to cook up some pain!"

did anybody else notice this dialouge? Do you think this is a pleasnt adition or a bad idea? i personaly whould just like to hear less anoying phrases such as the infamous PILLS HERE!!! phrase. what do you think about the dialouge in left 4 dead. or even just the survivors in general. their really was no need to really change the survivores in my opinion.

You know, the games are suppose to mirror silly zombie flicks. I wouldn't be surprised about really bad dialogue.

I will have to agree with this quote. I still love most of the quotes in the first game.

Those new lines sound a bit cheesey, but there are somethings I kind of like about the new quotes.
There was this one, I forget exactly how it went but the one guy (with the ballcap) talks about liking ponies, and then the one in the white suit agrees to liking ponies, and then says how he ate one the other night.
(Yes, I am bad at remembering the names. I think the names are Rochelle, Coach, and Nick, though I don't remember the last guy's name)
The only thing I don't like is how they messed with the classic zombie sounds, like the boomer's and hunter's sounds

To be honest, Coach is the only character that I like, based on what I've seen so far... They just don't see as great as Bill, Louis, Francis, and Zoey were.

But maybe Valve will change my mind. It wouldn't be the first time.

Yes, it sounds cheesy, but the game isn't really serious anyway, or at least trying not to be serious. They need something to lighten it up.

i dunno, left for dead seems kind of hard to top. sequels typically arent as good as the original

then again, modern warfare 2 is coming out soon soooo.... it could work

I'm going to miss the old 4 characters to be honest. The Francis' Hate show, the Bills shenanigans, the Zoey rule 34, and the louis ... uh ... louis ... accidental death documentary?

Other than that, L4D2 is looking good.
