Left 4 Dead-type games on the Xbox One

So my buddy wanted to play L4D yesterday online. I remember having great happiness playing it but we couldn't find anyone at all to play Versus with, which made me super sad.

Problem is that now I really want to play it but since it's kind of...Left 4 Dead (Ha! I'm clever!), I'm hoping that people might have suggestions for other similar games that are less dead.

The most obvious one would probably be L4D2, which I'd have no problem with if I knew if there were people online to play it. Otherwise what I'm hoping for is a team v team setup except that each team plays as something pretty different (so something like Rainbow Six Siege, a game I also really like, would be out). Evolve seemed like it would have fit the bill had it not cocked everything up so badly...

Anyone have any suggestions?

Warhammer End Times: Vermintide is essentially a medieval fantasy L4d clone. Right down to 4 players, special infected, healthkits pills etc... I have no idea what the online community is like, but the gameplay is identical despite being melee focused.

There's also Space Hulk: Deathwing if they ever do release it on consoles. No idea what is is like as I haven't got a good enough PC to play it, but might be one worth watching when it is released on consoles.

Huh...I watched a clip on Xbox Live and it looked....rough. However, it does have a demo so I'll at the very least give it a go and see.

It is rough but still enjoyable. I am one of those weirdo's who only play L4D with bots (and the odd friend), and Vermintide at least scratches that same itch.
