There are two types of Batman fan. The first wants the standard edition, the full game, and the chance to brood around Gotham in peace. The second sees the words “Deluxe Edition,” “Joker,” “Harley Quinn,” and “three days early access,” and immediately begins doing mental gymnastics to justify spending the extra cash. I am not here to judge. That’s a lie. I am constantly judging you.
When does Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight release?
Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launches on May 22, 2026 (and you can read our early impressions of it here), for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version coming later. Ahead of release, WB Games has laid out what players get in the Standard and Deluxe Editions, and the more expensive version is unsurprisingly a bit more packed with stuff you will obviously want.
