Then you've clearly never played a Bethesda game before. When I picked up Fallout 3? Patch! When I got New Vegas? Patch! I can only assume that Oblivion had one, as I got it a year later with no real knowledge of TES. Then I fucking loved it.

Most games get day one patches which fix minor inconveniences, but Bethesda patches never come on day one and they're needed to fix bitchingly obvious game breaking bugs...so, i'd say about 50mb in week 2.

Oh I am sure we'd get a patch in the first month. Probably to add annoying "achievements" to the game(For future dlc) while game breaking bugs still exist. *mutters about fo3 and fnv* And before anyone says fnv was developed by obsidian, yes I know, but Bethesda was responsible for the bug checking.
