Let's talk about some games that are in development or even games that aren't.

Basically state the game and then your wish list for it.

The Elder Scrolls 5
-Better looking magic
-More magic spells like in Morrowind
-More weapons like in Morrowind. Ninja Stars!
-Separate armor pieces. Left and Right pauldron that sort of stuff
-Better horses or non at all.
-Nice looking environment and some variety please!
-Open towns so I don't hop out into some deformed land scape
-More guilds!
-Make the fighter's guild interesting!
-Make fast travel make sense. Teleport spells, Silt striders, carriages.

Less Oblivion Gates would be my main wish.
Oh and something useful to actually buy with your money.

And downloadable shit for the Ps3

The next sonic game: DONT MAKE IT.
You should be given a prize of some sort. Thats big and made of gold.

Final Fantasy 13; quit the cheap FF7 rip-off and make a game that seems to have some semblance of originality.
I'd like a return to the medieval stand point in final fantasy. I associate fantasy with swords and goblins not the future and guns.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is actually a game I'm looking forward to, as I loved the first one.
-More game modes. I'm sick of playing Conquest 24/7, as good of a game mode that is.
-Team chat. Not just squad chat, team chat, PLEASE.
-The ability to host games. I don't want to have to end up playing on maps I hate, because that "map preference" thing doesn't help at all. In fact, I usually end up not getting that map.

Which is why FF9 is probably my favourite; it went back to its roots, and the fanboys of FF7 whined about it.
Really? I always thought 6 was the last one like that. I'll have to look into 9.

Mass Effect 2
-More game affecting choices
-More weapon designs, not just the base four
-More interesting exploration
-better combat controls
-More freedom in conversation

Prototype 2
-destructible environments
-less attacks that knock you down
-make the vision modes useful
-more powers
-more balance between powers
-ability to retain at least 3 different "camouflages" in your ability inventory
-free aiming
-less tanks roaming around

Crysis 2
-don't you dare make the whole game against aliens, Crytek.
-that's it :p

Personally, Snake to be back in the next MGS game, not Naked Snake, not a new character, Snake.

NEED.
This man speaks truth.

OT:

Grand Theft Auto 5:

* Bring back the planes and the tanks.
* Make the world bigger (like in San Andreas)
* More clothes, more character customization (like in San Andreas)
* More of the fun (you know, like in Vice City and San Andreas)

Sure GTA IV looked damn good, but did they need to kill the fun?
Bring back the lulz dammit!

Ooh, I have a few!

Halo:
-let it die and work on something else, like marathon. 3 games is enough, we don't need expansion packs and more of the same.

Seriously. Ok, now here are my actuals

Psychonauts 2:
-tighten up the controls
-keep the humorous and light side while still being bizarrely dark
-have a few more brains to mess around in
-a few more powers would be great, too

Duke Nukem: Forever:
-Release it.
-for the love of god release it!
-I've been looking forward to this for 10 years, I'm not going to let a little thing like the dev. team being fired destroy my hopes.

Fallout 4/whatever:
-keep it in the new perspective. Going back to the old way will only be stepping backwards.
-have an end game where after you finish the main quest you can keep playing without having to buy another DLC.
-go to a new place, like New York or something. A big city that can still have people somehow surviving.
-have an alternative transportation method, like motorcycle or horse.
-AI that isn't dumb as a sack of doorknobs.

Thats my current wish list. I am serious about Duke Nukem, I really want to play that game.

If they could just find some way to mix some of the story of GTA IV and the general goodness of San Andreas I would quit my job, school, and music and just sit in a vegetative state in front of the TV, gleefully blasting away with my 500-pound gimp-mask wearing muscle-man.

On topic:

Fable III:

- More uses for money, after you buy all the houses and some cool clothes, a good weapon with augments etc., you really have nothing to do. Maybe make it so that time-passes dynamically and new houses become available WITHOUT the need of going into an instance area in the story-line once?

- More clothes. The choices were still abysmal, while admittedly better than Fable I, please give us a bigger variety, or at least the ability to wear what ANY of the NPC's wear, excluding unique models.

- More hairstyles, and a semi-changeable face, the guy in Fable II was just plain ugly.

- When I increase my Physique because I want more damage, don't FORCE me to become bulky and crap. Give me an option whether to get more muscled, or just be strong in a more wiry sense of the word.

- The ability to un-equip weapons, I hated being a pure ranged character but having to keep a melee-weapon at all times.

- (In lieu of the above suggestion) Place-able sheaths/holsters for certain weapons. I.E., you can move a sword from your back to your hip, or get an ankle holster for your pistol.

- Daggers. These would be perfect for a quick, Assassin type character.

- Hire getter writers. Srsly.

- Different fighting styles that you can learn from different teachers in the game, they would all have their advantages and disadvantages, like one being more brutish and powerful less easy to block, but one being more swift and less easy to dodge.

- A LOT more titles, from what I heard from the NPC's, about 5 unique lines of dialogue for each title, it shouldn't be too difficult to institute some.

Maybe more later. Who knows.

I really missed that too.
Oblivion felt kind of "cheapened", if you know what I mean.

When I found the airport on GTA 4 I was psyched. Unfortunately you can't fly them =[.

I always thought that was cool. I felt like some secret agent. Definitely added some RP.

Now that's just Rockstar being jerks.
They knew we wanted the planes!
