List your plans for what YOU will do in the Summer.

I've finished my A Levels and getting ready (hopefully) to uni. In the meantime I am getting a job and going out to gigs with friends and playing games/reading etc

What plans do you have in hold?

I'm trying to get quite a lot of stuff organised over the summer, otherwise I think I'm probably going to get very bored.

I'm going away with my girlfriend for a bit, and I'm planning to go and visit some friends in Cornwall for a while. A Dance with Dragons comes out on July 12th, so no doubt I'll spend a few days blasting through that. I recently bought Planescape: Torment from GOG, so that should eat up quite a bit of my time. I'm planning to write up an idea for a D&D game I've had, with a view to playing it at uni next year, and I'm tempted to try my hand at writing a comic book, largely to see if I can. I'm also considering learning some rudimentary Mandarin.

My plans were to practice guitar a lot over the summer.
My friend obtained a drum kit today but has nowhere to put it so asked if he could put it at mine.
I now have a drum kit, my plans are as follows

Well so far I went on a week long beach trip followed by 6 days in Holland. Now I'm in Singapore where I've lived a lot of my life visiting family and friends. My girlfriend shows up for a couple of weeks from Sunday onwards. Then a little while after I go to Shanghai for a couple of days. Then I go for a boat trip down the River Mekong. I will then go on a trip with my Mother...somewhere for a week. Then another beach trip. At the very end I go to England for University. Before University (in Newcastle) I go with my best friend to my home town: Bath. It'll be awesome.

Went to a Fleet Foxes gig last night, going to Latitude festival in July, doing work experience with a law firm for a week, starting in four days, and I plan on getting a job at some point. I'll also probably work on some projects of mine and may get guitar lessons, if I earn some more money.

Seriously, though... I have a number of projects that will eat up my time and money. My house needs a new deck, and my cars each need a little work.

Basically, keep doing what I'm already doing - look for a second job. I currently work only one day a week (the only job I've had any success with in my search is a below minimum wage job delivering newspapers), and train in MMA the other 6 days. Don't plan on doing much else until I actually find a job.

- Finish spoiled games so I can push them out of my mind.
- Be with friends and have a good time/get drunk.

Yup, seems like reasonable enough plans.

I'm currently enrolled in classes and don't really have time to have a proper vacation. The good news is that once I'm done with class I can graduate! =D

In a county with 11 percent unemployment, where the biggest source of jobs (harry and david's) went bankrupt not long ago, and absolutely no prior job experience.

Well, I WAS planning on getting a job... But I've been searching almost 2 months now and pretty much zero luck so far ... currently looking into seeing if I can secure an internship at a local game studio, though, as apparently my mom knows a guy who knows a guy...
