Because those stories coming out of Korea about people who go on for days makes one wonder. (Lolwut sentence fragment)

So anyway, what is your record? Personally, mine is at 16 hours for some online MMORPG - I did achieve a high level character, but at the cost of my social life. ;c

4 days straight. No sleep, only water to drink. I passed out around 98 hours in. Getting back into WoW that was.

I got addicted to a MUD (text based MMO from before everquest) about 12 years ago and played on average 17 1/2 hours a day for a year straight. During that point I got the flu for a week and could not sleep. I played straight for 8 days before collapsing in utter exhaustion.

Lucky I didn't croak.

My friends and I took 37 hours to beat Halo, two weeks after Reach came out.

We did:
Halo Wars
Halo 1
Halo 2 (up till level 5)
Halo ODST
Halo 2 (finish)
Halo 3
Halo Reach

We took turns playing, watching, eating, bio, etc.
None of us slept until it was finished.
We beat it all on Legendary, with no skulls on (just grunt birthday in Reach, for lulz)

We're trying to find time to re-do it with all the detrimental skulls on /cringe.
Why did you play Reach last? I assume you were doing chronilogical, what with Halo Wars being first, and the pause between Halo 2 for ODST.
Yep.
Going from 2 to ODST and back again was the worst transition for us all =/
Going from the invincible 1 man army of Master Chief, to the stupidly weak ODST with no BR in sight, caused many deaths.
And it took us all about 2 hours to get used to being that invincible force of death again, and to remember the pistol in 2 is a hunk of shit.
Longest continuous gaming session.
When SC2 came out, I played for 4 days solid, but I had periods of sleep. Short periods, but I still slept.
