Longest without sleep

Self explanatory, what is the longest you went without sleep and why?

Mine is 3 days, during a weekend drinking celebrating mates birthdays on consecutive days, kept alive with about 10 bottles of Red Bull, it took a good day to sober up after :S

Had a mini-freakout over a halusination and my roommates forced me to go to sleep.

Two days, At my Cousins 18th, we spent those two days playing Guitar hero.

Of course we stopped for food and water, we just didn't sleep.

I think I spent that much time playing Fallout 3 all night.

mine is only 2 days, i spent it all playing super mario sunshine then screaming and crying for 30 mins because i ran out of lifes then fell down the stairs and slep there all the next day

35 hours, at a Lan party. I was so tired that I fell asleep on a chair and fell off it.

4, nearly 5 days. After that it feels like someone is actually reaching into your brain and deliberately altering your perception of your surroundings. Finally KO'ed and slept for about 4 hours, never did get the rest of that sleep back.
