I have a few memories of some old books I am looking for the titles of:
One was a Superman choose-your-own-adventure book. It had a bunch of bad endings with encounters of different colors of kryptonite.
The other was a paperback size comic of Batman, it had the origin with Joe Chill, and Batman first fighting criminals in an old costume of his father's, I think it had a giant spikey mask on it, like a masquerade version of a Batman costume. It had scenes of him growing up and training, and going to school to major in criminology and forensics. He was going to be a cop, but an argument over justice with one of his professors made him quit. The comic was in black and white.
I'm pretty sure the second was a collection of stories from the comic books, but I'm looking for the paperback novel version.
