I'm in the mood for a good simulation game. City-builder or maybe tycoon or something like that. Any suggestions?

Roller Coaster Tycoon can be a blast to play (And if you get bored... well you know)

RCT (1) is cheap as chips and entertaining, largely reliable and bug free if not all that inspiring by modern standards. Same is true of Railroad Tycoon 2 which is on Steam at somewhere around £5 last I checked.
