Lately my family and I have decided we need a new router since the D-Link 2740B router we've been using for a few years is starting to crap out on us, constantly cutting out and giving us shit speeds. I've been looking at some Netgear ones today online since our old Netgear router was very good until it broke. I was thinking of settling with the Netgear WNDR3700, but thought I should ask for your expert opinions first and hopefully get some better suggestions.
We would need a router with good wireless range as my brother and sister use their laptops from 40-50ft away from where the router would sit, but good performance as well as my brother and I often play games online and I've been downloading games off Steam quite often since the holiday sales.
