So, it took a long time, but I finally managed to convince my friends that the current phone game they were playing and spending WAY too much money on - that will go unnamed - is a giant pile of garbage designed solely to suck the money from their wallets. However, all of us still want to play a game together, but none of us really want to slog through the app store playing game after game to find that all of them has the same business model of money vacuum.
I was hoping that we could get some ideas of a game to play. The main part of the game that they were playing was the 'monster hunting' section, where a bunch of people would send their heroes to a tile with a big monster on it and over time would take it down for a prize. Basically, the main focus we like in a game is the ability to form a small group where we all work together to accomplish a task of some sort. But, it also needs to be a game that we can play for a few minutes at a time while at work.
Does anyone have any ideas?
