alright so it's time for me to move on. I need a better way (or at least different way) to spend my quiet nights in. I used to play a lot of runescape when i was younger, but i moved from that to tales of pirates a long time ago and that's what i've played most online. but, now it's getting a bit dull. I don't really know what's out anymore, so I have no clue where to start looking for a new rpg to get in to, which is why i'm asking here to see if anyone has any good ideas.
there's a few common things that i really like out of those two that i used to play which might help narrow it down. In both ToP and RS I liked being able to change the look of my equips and having stat bonuses etc, but I loved ToP for the fact I could allocate my stat points to wherever I wanted every time I level up, and also like forging my swords to have different glow effects etc. also, the variety of classes and equipment in ToP was to my liking. but, killing monster after monster and travelling for @%#&ing ages to get anywhere is what i really hated.
also, must be free to play. i didn't mind the fact that ToP has an item mall that you can buy stuff from, but you could get by without it or just buy the stuff through in game trades.
